Genes

The Genes page offers an easy-to-use yet powerful interface for exploring detailed information about genes and their links to human diseases. You can filter results by selecting either "Curated" or "All" available genes, narrow by chromosome and by evidence source (ClinVar, Orphanet, DisGeNet, CTD, HPO, GWAS Catalog, GenCC, ClinGen), sort by relevance, disease count, gene ID, or symbol, and browse alphabetically using the A-Z buttons. Each gene is listed in a structured tabular format showing Entrez ID, gene symbol, gene name, synonyms, and the associated diseases. Links to the Disease page for the specific genes are provided. Users can download the current page, only the genes they've selected, or every matching row, with optional extra columns (Chromosome, Gene Type, Disease Count, Evidence Source) and a choice of TSV or CSV format.

Clicking on a gene symbol opens its detail page, with the gene's full annotation (Entrez ID, gene name, synonyms, chromosomal location, summary) followed by its associated SNPs. An "On this page" sidebar (shown on wide screens) jumps directly to any section present for that gene: Gene, SNPs, miRNA, Transcription factors, Gene ontology, Other IDs, Protein, Pathways, and Associated diseases.
